Documentary wedding photographer in Oxfordshire, the Cotswolds and beyond. Ambivert, traveller, restaurant explorer, wine drinker, cheese enthusiast and the person behind the camera.

I’m happiest somewhere between a good meal, a glass of wine and a conversation that goes on far longer than planned. I love travelling, discovering new places, hiking, swimming, boxing, walking and generally finding excuses to be outside when I’m not photographing weddings.

I’m also slightly obsessed with true crime, will happily rewatch a 90s classic for the hundredth time, and spend far too much time looking for my next adventure.

Basically, I’m just a normal person who happens to have a camera in her hand a lot

So, how do I photograph weddings?

I’ve always been drawn to the things that happen around the main event.

The look someone gives their partner when they think nobody is watching. Your dad trying very hard not to cry. Your best friend losing it on the dance floor. The grandparents chatting in the corner. The chaos of getting ready. The slightly wonky buttonhole. The five-second breather you take together when nobody else is around.

Those are the things I want to photograph. As an Oxfordshire wedding photographer, my approach is all about capturing the atmosphere, people and little moments that make your wedding yours. I’m not interested in turning your day into one long photoshoot or keeping you away from your guests for hours.

Because when you look back at your wedding photographs years from now, I don’t think you’ll care whether every photograph was perfectly posed.

You’ll care about how it felt to be there.

Relaxed, natural and documentary-led wedding photography

That’s why I photograph weddings in a relaxed, unobtrusive and documentary-led way with romantic portraits. I’ll be there to capture the moments as they naturally happen — I’m there for the moments you planned, the ones you didn’t, and all the little things that happen when nobody is thinking about the camera.

But documentary doesn’t mean you’ll ever be left wondering what to do in front of the camera. I’ll be there to help you feel relaxed and confident, offering gentle guidance when you need it. Whether that’s during your couple portraits or getting everyone together for a group photo, I’ll step in when it’s helpful without making anything feel forced or overly posed.

The rest of the time, I’ll let you get on with your day.

Enjoy your champagne. Hug your friends. Laugh until your face hurts. Dance badly. Sneak off for five minutes together. Forget I’m even there.

That’s when the good stuff happens.

Beautiful photographs, yes.

But more importantly, photographs that take you straight back to the people, the atmosphere and the feeling of being there.
